I give a lot. I have given a lot. I will continue to give a lot. When I quoted Winston Churchill on Friday, I meant it,
We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.
But also, in case you missed it in the post, I made note that,
2013 was the year I made nearly nothing, if you want to know the truth.
I chose to spend 2013 building, learning and growing. And then I chose to run and begin launching another company, A LOVING SPOON, LLC.
If you’ve ever spent a year of your life doing any of the aforementioned you know that it leaves less than a desired income for the countless hours poured in.
I am good at what I do. I am very good at it. I am not ashamed in saying so.
But it was not until she came into our lives when I began to understand the true essence of time – my time – and just how much I have given of it for free….minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour, day-by-day, week-by-week, month-by-month.
And so I spent a lot of time during these past couple of weeks revamping my site under “Work with Gutsy.” Why?
- Because this is my job; this is how I contribute to my family. These are all the services I provide that people find extremely valuable. Just take a look.
- Because if you want to know the truth, you are also more likely to succeed when you invest in yourself. Would you ever purchase a trip to Cabo and then back out? Precisely.
I have 2 group programs starting in January.
I have added even more 1-on-1 programs, including something for those who do not have IBS or IBD and an Online Meal Planning service.
Absolutely brand new are the Local Services, which include: Grocery Store Tour, In-Home Pantry Makeover, In-Home Private Chef and Personal Grocery Shopping.
Best of all? With most of these, you can now schedule with me at your convenience!(<<– I am booking now for the beginning of January; nothing for the rest of December as I’m finishing up a current group program and a few other things.)
And finally, I finished my Media Kit. There is an added section for “Brands and Corporations.”
I will never stop giving.
But I’m simply not free anymore, and realizing this meant that I was able to hone in on all the things I love in order to offer you perhaps the very thing you’ll need for 2014!
(Know someone who might benefit from this or working with me? Share on Facebook.)
Love your guts,
SKH
